Throw a Christmas Party with Outdoor Christmas Lights

One of the best times of the year are the holidays. One of the best parts of the holidays are the Christmas parties. Christmas parties are a great time to catch up with family, friends, & colleague’s. It’s a great time to kick back and just look back on the year.

Mini Lights

Mini lights are great for decorating all year round not just at your Christmas party. They can be used for any special occasion throughout the year including birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, weddings, or maybe even valentines if you ladies are lucky.

Using mini lights around your fireplace and mantle will define and transform these areas. The fireplace is always a great centerpiece and decorating it with mini lights will show it off.

Wreaths are another accessory that looks great when you wrap them with mini lights. Wrapping several wreaths with mini lights and placing them around your home is a great start to your decorating for the party.

C7 & C9 Lights

C7

These are your traditional lights with the larger bulbs that have been used for years decorating homes. They are incandescent glass bulbs that measure 1.5″ long. They come in clear, opaque, and twinkle bulbs. These are great for stringing along rooflines, eaves, fences, & balconies.

Light stakes are also available which are nice for using these lights to line your driveway. Using the C7 twinkle lights in varying intervals will allow you to light up sections of your yard fixtures to make them seem like they are moving. Pretty neat effect!

C9

If you want to wake up the neighborhood, C9 bulbs are the way to go. They are incandescent glass bulbs that measure 2″. These were the more commonly used bulbs you remember growing up. C9 bulbs are great for making a statement.

Use them to decorate your towering trees, line your entire home, or use them to define holiday displays in the yard. Anyway you use them will help create the theme you are looking for.
