Outdoor Christmas Lights with Inflatables
Changing Trends
As far back as I can remember most people just put Outside Christmas Lights up around the house and called it a day. Some people had more Christmas decor than others but for the most part it was conservative. And then there was always that neighbor that enjoyed taking a few extra steps to make their home look like the Santa’s residence. They would put out decorations in their yard that were mostly made out of wood or metal. Some people would be in competition with each other and not even know it. Well, things have changed quite a bit. Today, one of the most popular new trends in Christmas decorations for your yard is inflatables.
Brace for Impact
Inflatable Christmas decorations have brought a whole new dimension to decorating for the holidays. They have a unique way of creating a 3D look to your yard. The reason for this is because they are blown up with air and are decorated on all sides so no matter which way you view them you are getting the best view. This makes for a nice holiday display when people are driving around looking at Christmas lights. Its also nice for you when you have to stare at the yard decorations out the window of your house.
Inflatables have a much more polished look since they can be seen from any side. They are also a good alternative to decorating your tree’s with lights especially if you would like to stay off of tall ladders. They are simple to install and also come in a bunch of different styles. Some common choices are Santa Clause, Christmas Trees, Elves, or even a Ginger Bread House. They even have some Snoopy inflatables. Another upside to a lot of inflatables are the special effects that come with some units. Many units can replicate motion or sound that will make your yard come to life. You are essentially able to create a live show right in your own front yard. Now thats eye catching!
Variety
Since inflatables are becoming so popular, the assortment can be endless. There are styles for little yards that are more compact and also large displays for businesses or people with lots of land. Most inflatables are held down with yard stakes. You want to make sure you don’t skip this step. If so, high winds will move your investment over to the neighbors yard. The inside of the inflatable usually has a socket fixture that holds the light bulbs. Get the light bulb adjusted where you want it so it looks right and plug it in. Now you are ready to show off your new Christmas creation!
